On June 22, CNAY met with Native youth in the National Institutes of Health Summer Intern Program. CNAY chairman and founder, Senator Byron Dorgan (ret.) joined the discussion with youth from across Indian Country who are working on various health and science-related projects over the course of the summer. Participants talked about priorities for their communities, involvement in Gen-I, and being positive role models, among other topics, during the discussion.
We were excited to learn about their amazing projects and look forward to staying connected with them in the future!
