June 15 Gen-I NOW: Scholarships to Attend the Emerging Leaders Summit

This Gen-I Native Opportunities Weekly (NOW) message shares information about the Emerging Native Leaders Summit 2016 (ENLS2016) offered by Native American Contractors Association (NACA).

The Emerging Leaders Summit is for individuals (and youth over the age of 19) who dream to push themselves to be the best Tribal Leader, Project Manager, CEO, or Entrepreneur they can be. NACA provides training on the topics of business, understanding industry, and Indian law and advocacy. The trainings are provided by subject matter experts in each field. This is the chance to develop and sharpen your skills and learn the most up to date information to impact your success in the field of business. Along with trainings, participants will hear from keynote speakers and attend a networking reception with staff from Capitol Hill, business leaders, and local organization leadership.

Scholarships are available for college students, young professionals, and managers over the age of 19. Apply today!

  • Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian
  • College students, young professionals, and managers over the age of 19
  • If currently a student, the student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to participate.

What does the Scholarship Cover?
The Scholarships provided by NACA will cover the full cost of the event. This includes transportation to DC, hotel accommodations, registration and meals during training sessions. The scholarship does not cover dinner meals and transportation costs around the DC area.
* A limited number of scholarships will be available to support students in attending the Summit.
