On October 6, CNAY was selected as an honoree to partner with the National Voices Project to help study and survey a national audience on the “Awareness of Native American Youth Needs and Inclusivity”. Through this partnership, CNAY will be able to better recognize areas of need, how best to support Native youth, and how to better support organizations that work with – or want to work with – Native youth. In addition, CNAY will be able to help connect communities and youth with the proper resources and opportunities that will help them to thrive and become successful and active members of their communities.
The National Voices Project is an innovative and entirely new effort to measure disparities in children’s health, education, and economic opportunities at the community level – through the perspectives of adults working or volunteering on behalf of kids. National Voices Project surveys are fielded twice per year and findings are reported and disseminated through press releases and media coverage.
