Cierra Fields Plays Role in Creating Cherokee Nation Leadership Day

We’re proud of Cierra Fields of the Cherokee
Nation, 2013 Champion for Change and NCAI Youth cabinet member, for
co-authoring a tribal resolution designating October 2 as “Cherokee Nation
Leadership Day.” This day is designed to honor the elders of the community, as
well as all individuals in leadership positions in government, as well as in education,
cultural preservation, community development, language, history, and faith.

Keep
up the good work, Cierra!
