The Center for Native American
Youth would like to congratulate Dahkota Brown, Cierra Fields and Sarah Schilling, from our 2013 Champions for Change, on
being selected to join the 2014 National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) National Native Youth Cabinet.
The NCAI National Native Youth Cabinet was created to increase the number of American Indian and
Alaska Native youth who are prepared with political knowledge and skills to
become national tribal leaders. Youth Cabinet members will also help to
identify strategies for improving policy and data on issues of significance to
Native youth. We are proud of our Champions as they continue develop their
leadership skills and advocate for their tribal and urban Indian communities!
