Opportunities Weekly (NOW) message provides information about Native
Learning Center’s FREE
webinar: Writing Resumes and Cover Letters

 

The Native
Learning Center
(NLC), a program of the Seminole Tribe of Florida Housing
Department, offers FREE courses and training to Native
Americans and Indigenous people with an emphasis on the educational needs of
tribal members and their communities. Their focus areas include: Celebrating
Culture & Language, Financial Wellness, Grant Education, Housing
Strategies, and Tribal Government.

The Writing
Resumes and Cover Letters webinar
is a free course offered by NLC
tailored to help up-and-coming young professionals communicate their
education, experience, and mold their resumes to fit job descriptions, making
them prime candidates for desired positions. Course objectives include:

  • Identify the major
    sections of a resume
  • Analyze sample cover
    letters and resumes
  • Describe how to tailor
    a cover letter to a specific job description

This course will be offered online on July 10, 2013 from
2:00pm till 3:00pm EST
