Convention Student Diversity Scholarship
!

The Society of American Foresters (SAF)
is providing funds for students to attend their 2013
National Convention
, which will be held in Charelston, South Carolina,
October 23-27. The scholarship funds registration and accommodation for the
convention. Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate
program in September 2013 and be interested in a career in forestry or
natural resources. Visit the SAF website

Founded by former US Senator Byron Dorgan, the
Center is a policy program within the Aspen Institute, headquartered in
Washington, DC. While a part of the Aspen Institute, the Center is also
overseen by a Board of Advisors. The goal of the Center is to bring greater
national attention to the issues facing Native American youth, and to foster
solutions, with special emphasis on youth suicide prevention.
