Program Associate – Basic Function:
The Program Associate will work closely with the Executive Director on
design, development and implementation of AI/AN youth programming and
lead unique program initiatives which focus on policy research around
specific issues impacting the lives of AI/AN youth. He/she will conduct
ongoing research on current and proposed policies related to AI/AN
youth, health and wellness; co-develop a series of national issue/policy
roundtables; co-develop publications for a variety of audiences on
relevant issues, current and potential policies, and best practices; and
serve as a resource to policymakers, agencies, foundations and others.
Successful candidates must be adept at taking initiative, meeting
deadlines, and multi-tasking in the dynamic and creative environment of a
