National Suicide Prevention Week started on September 4 and culminates with World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10.

Suicide prevention efforts can be as diverse as the 566 federally-recognized tribes in Indian Country. Prevention can be identified as trainings, programs, organizations as well as other community efforts.
